Feeling Sensually Empowered ~ How to Sustain Your Mojo
As a sensually empowered woman, you are the keeper of your own mojo. It is that sense of self-confidence, self-esteem and sex appeal stemming from the core of your being and spiraling outward, enchanting every person around you. Sometimes we are in the flow, feeling good and looking our best. Other times we may feel like hiding under a mask, lacking self-esteem and poise. So how do we sustain our mojo and live life in balance?
It all comes down to maintaining a positive attitude. Our thoughts, beliefs, words, and actions are within our control 100% of the time. We can regulate how good, sensual, confident, attractive or healthy we feel. We are responsible for what we are getting out of life because it is a direct correlation to what we are putting out. If we project love, beauty, positivity, abundance and kindness, then that is what comes back to us. However if we criticize, complain or feel victimized, then that is what tend to manifest more of within our reality. What we think about, we bring about. So why not feel ecstatic as much as possible?
The True Fountain of Youth ~ Sex is Good for Your Health!
Did you know that sex can make you look younger and more attractive? Sex helps boost the production of the human growth hormone, which improves muscle tone and takes years off the way you look and feel. Women’s estrogen levels naturally decline with age eventually reaching the stage of menopause. When a woman has sex, she produces more estrogen, which helps keep her hair shiny, smooth, thick and healthy looking. Sex also increases the production of collagen, which promotes supple youthful skin evading age spots and sagging. Sex is truly the real fountain of youth!
There are many health benefits to having sex, as it is the most natural and enjoyable physical activity you can do. On average, sex burns about 5-10 calories per minute. As part of your morning routine, enjoy a half-hour of sex and burn hundreds of calories before even getting out of bed! A good sex life will not only help you feel and look younger — it will also help you live longer.
Feeling Twitterpated… Enjoying Love, Life and Springtime!
In many parts of the northern hemisphere, signs of spring are beginning to appear all around us. Trees are budding, birds are signing, flowers are blooming, and the animals (including humans) are… well… twitterpated.
Do you remember in the classic cartoon movie Bambi, when the young animal friends learn about what being “twitterpated” is? It is not about posting comments on Twitter, or any other social network. However many couples do find love connections and practice plenty of flirting on social media sites. What I am referring to here is the feeling of excitement and arousal when we are sexually attracted to another. After a long dreary winter, springtime brings forth a freshness of new life, passion and desire.
The Connection Between Nitric Oxide, Sex, Health and Happiness
Nitric Oxide (not to be confused with nitrous oxide) is a very simple but important molecule that can actually determine how long you live and the quality of your life. Nitric Oxide is made by the blood vessels’ lining, or endothelium. The endothelium is extremely sensitive to the physical and chemical conditions inside our blood vessels. When the endothelium senses heart-healthy conditions, such as physical activity and low cholesterol, it releases more Nitric Oxide. And that’s very good for your health and vitality. Nitric Oxide expands the blood vessels, increasing blood flow and decreasing blood clotting. Conversely, when the endothelium senses unhealthy activities and conditions such as high cholesterol, high blood pressure, cigarette smoking, or emotional distress, it releases less Nitric Oxide; and chances of atherosclerosis (heart disease) accelerates.
How does nitric oxide work to our advantage in the body?
Nitric Oxide is a gas that’s produced in the endothelial lining of every blood vessel in our bodies, including all the capillaries. Every cell of our body is only about one micron away from the lining of a blood vessel. And when you are doing anything that feels good, like healthy exercise or having an orgasm, your Nitric Oxide levels rise and your blood circulation is increased. More than that, Nitric Oxide is the main neurotransmitter – the one that regulates all the other neurotransmitters. And because it’s a gas, it goes through the body instantly. So high Nitric Oxide levels, let’s say from clitoral stimulation, will instantly change the neurotransmitter levels of the brain and balance them out. As your biochemistry changes, inflammation decreases, and chances of heart disease lessens, and the adrenals improve — it’s all connected. We aren’t kidding when we say sex is good for your health!

Become an Ardent Explorer of Your Own Pleasure
Maybe you’d like a romantic evening out with your partner on a regular basis. (Who wouldn’t?) Ask for it! And be very specific about what would please you. You’ll be surprised how willing your partner will be to help make it happen once you request it. (If you don’t believe me, just try it. What do you have to lose?) Even if the two of you just go for a drive together to look at the stars, you’ll be cultivating more joy.
Maintaining Your Resolution for Better Health and Fitness
It’s the beginning of a new year and many of us have set intentions to make healthier choices with what we eat and to be more physically active in our day to day lifestyle. Obviously there are infinite benefits to getting in better shape, especially when it comes to maintaining optimum health and aging gracefully. As our metabolism gradually slows down, we start noticing changes in our bodies and realize we do not look nearly the same as when we were 18-years old. This can be a despondent feeling for some; however all we can do at this point is make the best of what we’ve got. Friends come and go in our lives, as well as all of our material possessions – but we are stuck with our bodies throughout our entire life! We might as well optimize what we have to work with, as it is never too late to get in better shape.
Consistent exercise – no matter what your age, gender or size – not only improves your health and fitness, but also your overall quality of life. When we practice getting in better shape, our hearts pump better and our lungs get more oxygen, and that contributes to a feeling of “aliveness” that in turn improves our attitude and zest for life. The best way to overcome stress and depression is physical activity, which tends to reignite our passions and inspire creativity. It will improve the way you feel mentally, emotionally and physically.
Herbs to Boost Energy, Vitality & Libido
For thousands of years, Cordyceps Sinensis (mushroom) has been an integral part of traditional Chinese medicine. Found in the Himalayan regions of Tibet and Nepal, sprouted from caterpillar carcasses, this potent fungus is used to treat numerous health conditions while boosting sexual vigor and overall vitality. As legend would have it, cordyceps was discovered by Himalayan shepherds who observed a drastic increase in liveliness and mating activity among their herds after eating this particular mushroom. Soon emperors were sending for it to boost their own libidos, stamina and energy. Tibetan monks also used cordyceps for mindful meditation, to strengthen their immunity, and fortify their lungs, heart and kidneys, as well as to promote longevity.
Coryceps is regarded as a lung tonic and has been widely used in Chinese hospitals to treat asthma, pneumonia and other respiratory conditions. It is also used by athletes to increase stamina, strength and endurance. Cordyceps attracted attention among athletes around the world in 1993 at the World Track and Field Championships in Stutgartt, Germany after nine Chinese runners, who regularly took cordyceps, broke six world records. For optimum stamina levels, many athletes have since utilized cordyceps to naturally enhance their performance. For greater lung capacity and for better breathing, cordyceps is said to keep the lungs healthy and can help prevent illnesses.
